The Arctic Inter-Action programme focuses on improving communication skills between individuals within a group while enhancing their distributed leadership competences.
Our core leadership and group development programme is experiential in nature. Each day the participants are faced with case situations, varying from short problems to 24hr long challenges. Every case is designed to achieve particular learning outcomes, allowing customisation to specific training needs ranging from leadership to group development, decision-making to communication, business awareness and strategic thinking, to negotiation and influencing skills.
Our activities are based upon ones used by the Norwegian and Swedish armed forces for many years. We have developed a mixed methods approach combining tools in organisational psychology, personality traits and real experiences. This approach stems from our belief that leadership cannot be fully experienced in a classroom and experience can be enchanced by an understanding of human and organisational psychology.
