Distributed leadership Minimize

The concept of Distributed leadership is very important to us at Arctic Inter-Action, and is a focus for all our groups. No matter the level of seniority of members of the group, all are encouraged to lead to overcome common tasks, and by introducing the Jungian Type Index they gain insight into each others values.

Yates, in the lecture below defines it as the practice of cultivating leadership capability amongst all members of a group. It stems from a new paradigm of teamwork over hierarchy and working across boundaries. Distributed leadership can be seen as an emergent property of a network of interacting individuals and is built on common tasks and shared values.
